The ServSafe® Alcohol® training program was developed by the National Restaurant Association and industry experts to prepare bartenders, servers, and all front-of-house staff to effectively and safely handle alcohol-related situations in your operation.

Starting July 1, 2022, all alcohol servers and managers of alcohol servers in California will need to take an approved Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Training Program. The alcohol servers and managers will then need to take an exam provided by the California Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC).
